|COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES||Howard Center is the designated community mental health center for Chittenden County and provides a wide array of mental health services to children and families including crisis response, clinic and school based therapy, outreach treatment, family support, and prevention, education, screening, referral, and consultation services are provided in homes, schools and other community based locations. |CHILD AND FAMILY CRISIS SERVICES||First Call for Children and Families provides Child and Adolescent Crisis Services for Chittenden County. The purpose of First Call is to provide a response to children and adolescents who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The First Call team is located at Howard Center Child, Youth, and Family Services in Burlington. The program provide services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. |INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES||Vermont 2-1-1 – is an information and referral resource run by the United Ways of Vermont. Dial 2-1-1 on your phone to speak with an information and referral specialist who can help you locate appropriate mental health supports and resources or you may link directly to their online database at www.vermont211.org.|
