FAMILY & COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES (Click for more program details)
Family and Community Based Services is a voluntary, time-limited, weekly service provided for families with children with significant and/or complex emotional, behavioral, or mental health care challenges who would benefit most from in-home, real-time therapeutic supports and behavioral coaching. Services occur directly in the home addressing family treatment goals in the family’s natural environment.
FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES: RESPITE (Click for more program details)
The Respite Program is a voluntary service designed to give families, experiencing multiple stressors, a planned break from their child. Services are available five hours per week for up to one year. Trained staff engages children in pro-social, community based activities.
INTENSIVE FAMILY BASED SERVICES (Click for more program details)
Intensive Family Based Services provides time limited, intensive interventions for families in which a child is at imminent risk of removal from the home for reasons of abuse, neglect, or severe emotional disturbance. Our primary goal is prevention of out-of-home placements. In instances where children have been placed out of the home, our goal is to reunify them with their family.
JOBS PROGRAM (Click for more program details)
The JOBS Program (Jump on Board for Success) is an innovative supported employment and intensive case management service for youth ages 16-11. The program operates in collaboration with Spectrum Youth and Family Services, Howard Center Child, Youth, and Family Services, and VocRehab VT. Our primary goal is to support youth with getting and keeping stable, competitive employment.
COMMUNITY FRIENDS MENTORING (Click for more program details)
Community Friends is a community based mentoring program providing mentors to Chittenden County children, ages 6-12, who could use extra support due to stresses in their lives. Our goal is to create lasting friendships that positively impact the quality of life for the children, families, and volunteers involved in our program.
